damn man. ive been file complete since 10/13/09 WTH is going on? do u think they forgot my file or something?

Take this with a grain of salt, but I read on this forum that USD ranks applicants in an index by GPA and LSAT; they go down the index, reviewing individuals that were not candidates for auto-reject or auto-acceptance on a case-by-case basis. You are either accepted, rejected, waitlisted or held for further review.

Perhaps the delay comes from being held or falling somewhere in the rank that would cause them to review other applications ahead of yours. Who really knows but them. Ask.

Just think, a year from now you will know exactly what you deserve and what laws apply. I agree, if you are still interested, and were complete 10/13/09, call them. I have not yet because I applied late and deserve nothing.

I did call, and they said that when you applied has nothing to do with when you hear back or even when your file is reviewed. Some of the people looking at the files are professors and take a long time to get to and review files

Youll Probably Get your letter Saturday then, thats the time lapse when I got mine last week.

Damn you USD. I had a dream about USD acceptance last night! I just want an answer. And I want that answer to be accepted!

I'm pretty discouraged by how long it is taking to hear from them, their bump in rankings, and folks I've seen here get dinged who had better numbers.

I feel for you. Even though my waitlist made me sob like a little baby, I feel better knowing that I can start to make other plans. Good luck!

i just gave the admissions office a call.. any decisions that were made on monday went out via snail mail yesterday. i'm assuming that means i'll be getting my letter tomorrow (HOPEFULLY) or friday.

accepted... letter came in the mail today, I guess when you don't go complete till late march they punish you by waitlisting for a bit. Good luck to everyone else and I'll see you in the fall

Congrats, sdlaw. You are the first acceptance in a long, long time...it was pretty quick how you went WL->Accepted in under 2 weeks

yes I went DR on 4/19. My turnaround was pretty good although i thought my numbers were pretty decent for usd. I wonder if they will be giving any scholly money out after seat deposits for anyone waitlisted. I kind of doubt it but let's hope so.

I was accepted on 4/8 and still haven't been sent ANY financial aid info.

Were you accepted outright or waitlist then accepted? Your numbers are just slightly better than mine.

I was waitlisted April 9th when the big wave of waitlisted people came out.
