Shoot me a PM when y'all know what you need.
They have a ton of highlighting and neurotic margin notes. So if that bothers you, then I wouldn't recommend my books.

I was section Z last year. Let me know if you want to look at some used text books/supplements.

Hey section X,
I have...
1. Contracts: Transactions and Litigation 2nd edition by Kuney
2. Torts 11th edition by Schwartz
PM if interested. Contracts has insane highlighting and margin notes. Torts isn't as bad, but still does have highlighting/notes.
Also, I'll have to send them via media mail.

Would any z's (or members of other sections) like to get a group together for dinner or drinks before orientation?

That's a great idea. I'm a Z and I'm definitely up for dinner or drinks. I'll be out of town this weekend but would be game for something early next week.judge_chamberlain wrote:Would any z's (or members of other sections) like to get a group together for dinner or drinks before orientation?
Also, Z's, was anyone able to get their hands on the supplement for civ pro? It wasn't in stock when I went to the bookstore although, admittedly, I ran to the bookstore immediately after getting the section assignments email and may have been too early. I also noticed that it wasn't supposed to be published until July 30, 2010...so, maybe that explains the delay. Thanks for any insight.

Tuesday sounds like a great idea.
For drinks: somewhere like Highwire, Trapeze, Blue Sky, Normalbar or Walkers sound good?
For food: Transmet, Last Resort, Cali N Titos, etc? Cali N Titos might be nice to hit up before absolutely everyone hits campus. Plus, you can bring your own booze for $2. Especially if it is a "somewhat" cooler evening.

You are still charged OOS tuition, it is just that your schollys make it in-state.bta422 wrote:so I have a big fat $16k payment due for fall tuition on the 6th? When should we expect funds to be disbursed? They supposedly gave me instate tuition equalization...son of a...
The main financial aid site says this, and while it is directed at undergrads, it could definitely be the case for us since we are registered earlier than we were told before:
Ten days before class starts is the 6th. Your bill is due on the 6th. I bet that is when we get our money. If all aid eligibility requirements have been met, checks are mailed ten days before the semester begins for students who are pre-registered for the required number of hours and have no flags or holds on their records. Students who have authorized Student Accounts to direct deposit any funds due the student should contact Student Accounts (706) 542-2965 for the date their funds will be deposited to their bank account.

I was on the phone with Financial Aid and Student Accounts as well as the Law school for a decent portion of the day today. Apparently our tuition is not due until the 20-something of August, and I was told by the law school to not worry about it for now. They said they were in the process of getting the scholarship information to the student account office. Not sure I completely understand how it all will work (and i could really use that student loan money ASAP), so if anyone wants to follow up that would be grand.
