Congrats man!
thanks! i love michigan... it's definitely at the top of my list among schools i've gotten into so far. if i don't get into chicago ED or stanford, i'll probably end up at michigan, which would be totally sweet!

why yes, it appears we are numbers twins (and due to my gpa trend, even closer than the numbers may indicate). and we're both coming straight from undergrad. so, clearly, we're exactly the same, which means that you'll be seeing the blue text any day now

So...opinion needed. I am just now applying to Michigan. Long story about having a crazy semester and not having enough time to work on it "well" until just now. Should the priority be to write 2 good supplementals if it means another week...or one good supplemental and submit within the next few days?? My numbers are (hopefully!) competitive....any thoughts would be appreciated!!
Good luck everyone.

I only submitted a "Why Mich," and I got in last week. I'd say you'll probably be fine with competitive numbers and one solid supplement. Good luck!

You'd probably be fine with just the PS. One supplemental essay is more than enough. Unless you really have something great to say, 2 might be overkill. (Just my 2 cents)

So, my Complete date updated to today's date (from 11/25). Does this mean anything at Michigan? I still can't log in to the Admitted Student site. Do we have to go under review or anything or do we get a decision straight from Complete?

I think it goes from complete to some kind of decision. I also think most people's status dates update every day, so I wouldn't read too much into it.

Strange. I think they generally update every day except Sunday. In any case, I think the status goes straight from Complete to Decision.

It may have been updating everyday. Who knows. I haven't really been paying attention. Now that Penn deferred me though, I've moved my neurosis to other schools.

In via snail mail. Nice little handwritten note about my background and some good clinics at Michigan that would be a good fit. Very pleased right now...it was worth all the waiting.

Wow, congrats! I only got an adorable e-mail about scholarship stuff in March (granted, I don't have Darrow-like numbers).
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
