I did. I got accepted last week and I haven't sent anything telling them that I have received their letter, so I figured they might have sent this. But, they might have just sent it to everyone...

Perhaps you were in review for a day or so...I've heard it happen, except with DFs, not waitlists.

Finally In Review 2/22 after being Complete since 9/28

Anyone have any idea how long after going under review people have been receiving decisions?

Never thought I'd have to say this to anyone, but congrats for going into review! If I remember correctly, you weren't an auto-deny nor an auto-admit, and I think the average time an applicant stays under review is about a month-month and half. I think some auto-admits were in review for like, a weekend...but in very rare cases.

sorry i havent found it going back a few pages: have we found any meaningful relationship with how long someone is in review for/ how many times their in review date changes and admission chances?

I was IR on 1/17 and now it says 2/19, applied in early december

Looks like they're going through the "completes" they left behind in 2009. Still haven't seen many 12/21s go IR yet...but keeping my fingers crossed for sooner than later

This is from an email just received from someone in Financial Aid about scholarships. Hopefully this will be helpful to everyone: "We are only now beginning to make scholarship decisions and they will go out as decisions are made via USPS mail. I expect the bulk of decisions should be mailed within the next week or two."

Should I be worried about being IR since 2/1? I'm hoping that since my numbers (165, 3.6) make this a reach for me, they are carefully considering my app.

I don't think they would force you to check the status checker to find out about the waitlist... and it doesn't have any info for me on what to do next or what to expect. So, letter? Email?

i talked to a lady two days ago and she said theyd send out notices the next day (yesterday); whether email or mail i dont know

Even if you get in off the wait-list, wouldn't your chances of getting a big scholarship be diminished by not being admitted in the first place? Surely it will take some money to sway you from UCLA, and more importantly, lots of money at UVA?

I know you like USC, but without good money, even for Southern California, UVA seems like the obvious choice.

lol you know i wouldn't be surprised if they asked me to pretend that it went to IR on the new date.

but i do believe it does change every time someone does look at your app for consideration... so i guess its a good thing, unless they looked at it to make sure they wanted to reject me... which with my stats is most likely. USC is my #1 choice.
