Waitlisted at 2:05 am today. My first YP (I assume), so that's something... I honestly don't blame them at all. Still, im waiting on a lot of decisions, so I guess I'll hang out for a bit.

Hate hearing about all of these 2AM emails. I wanted to think that I was safe from news on the weekends. Do we think these are emails that were sent out Friday afternoon that got stuck in the system, or is there a possibility that there are more coming over the weekend? Sorry to all who got bad news.

My stats are on the lower end for Georgetown. Not sure why they would send it to me except maybe because of my interest in public interest law. Does anyone know if that scholarship email has anything to do with the Public Interest law Scholars Program? Should I mention that I want to be considered for that scholarship in this email? So far I only have scholarship information from lower ranked schools.

Also I've been nominated for a scholarship at a higher ranked school. Is that still a bargaining chip for this feeler email if I've only been nominated?

I haven't responded yet. I spoke to a Georgetown alumni and they said that if they were writing the email they would not mention the name of the lower ranked school and just say you got a full ride scholarship from a local school or whatever your situation may be.

I had my internet disconnect while typing my message,and it sent as a partial message. Quickly replied back with my complete formal message. Included scholarship offers already offered and that full ride would get me there without a doubt. Fingers crosses that it works

Hey! Antsy question for you all. I applied on January 3rd with GPA and LSAT above 75. I haven't heard back for interview, nor have I been dinged. I feel odd just waiting for nothing. Is that normal? I thought Georgetown usually gets back pretty quickly. My application is alright considering acceptances from higher ranked school, but I just really want Gtown due to location.

fwiw, I submitted 11/20 and didn't get an interview invite until 1/13
