yeah I'm not going to lie when I see the thread has jumped forward five pages and it's just really strong feelings about pets it makes me die inside a little bit. how about we all just compare adorable animal photos at ASW y/n??

I hear what you're saying but.....LSN is pretty solid for raw info minus shitpoasts. Shitposting in solidarity is kind of part of the TLS package.

Maybe I'll do a poll about shitpoasting

Y'all, srsly, if your first contribution to this thread is to ask people to stop chatting a bit and blowing off steam, then I just don't have a lot of sympathy for ya. Go to LSN.

Also, this thread has barely had any off topic posting for 6 months and it probably won't last after work hours, so, like, just deal with it. Or don't.

Yeah, this board is what it is. It's not here to accommodate your needs.
lol it was just a suggestion. No need to be rude about it. and trust me and I'm checking here and LSN.

Not against shitposting just against excessive shitposting during a week that is full of admissions decisions.

And, FWIW, this thread, according to the title, is about YLS admissions. It's not really accommodating "my needs" to make most posts related to YLS...

peace be with you @onehandedeconomist

honestly I feel omniaggressed and I would very much like to be excluded from your feline narrative (jk I'm amped to meet Jasper and Lily <3)

Lol just a suggestion and I made my account literally last week. So not exactly a ton of time for me to post. But thank you for being so concerned and looking through my post history I am honored af

there are 3885838227374 online forums for cat lovers and for dog lovers. I didn't realize it was necessary to discuss how cats are superior entities on this thread.

I apologize if my FIRST post on this thread (Gasp) was so triggering to you all though

At least this is late enough in the cycle where, when we get rejected, we all have amazing alternatives to fall back on.

as nesting season arrives, the wild applicants begin to work themselves into a frenzy. will they be the one of the lucky ones, and find a home for the fall? if not, they will soon begin to collect small twigs and trinkets in preparation for the long winter ahead.
