I'm applying to northeastern too...just to see what they give me for scholarship money. Not sure what they do for fee waivers but if you get one, then all you're losing out on is 30 bucks so I really see no reason not to.Dodocogon wrote:So I'm definetly applying to BU and BC, is Northeastern even worth an app for scholly leverage for them? Dude...that's a tiger decision, not a housecat decision. Glad you aren't constraining yourself to an artificial timeline. Get it strong, get it right. I was stressing myself over applying this cycle so bad due to 1. me wanting to start next year and 2. other family reasons that I don't really want to go into. But I have to not be an idiot and realize that this is my last shot (of course for the 2 yrs you get) to nail this shit. So if I'm meant to be in c/o 2021, so be it. We just have to wait and see

also, can you take the lsat for me. i appreciate it, THANKS

Yeah I just didn't know if you took your offer to BU/BC from Northeastern if they would consider moving your scholarship up to get closer/meet it. Obviously not on the same level but the location might make them competitive. Probably worth getting a number from them though.ashrice13 wrote:I'm applying to northeastern too...just to see what they give me for scholarship money. Checking in from the waiters' thread.
I'm one of those few TLSers who doesn't dream of NYC biglaw and the T14, my goal all along has been to go to the University of Alabama. I got a 164 on the September test. My PT average was a 166, so I don't think I'd really benefit from a retake and I'd be running a risk of scoring lower.
My GPA is a 3.94. Bama's median LSAT is 163 and their 75th is 165. I'm above their 75th GPA (3.92).
Do ya'll think I have a shot at scholarship money from Bama? There is a small sample size on LSN.

so if I make a negotiations thread will people actually post? or will people be scared of being identified? I figure we could post anon. example:
"I used a 120K offer from Duke to bump my 65K offer from NYU."

With 160-164 and 3.8-3.95, I have you averaging a $70k scholarship.mstatelawdawg wrote:Checking in from the waiters' thread.

I probably put you at ~100k scholarship. 165/3.65s are getting 100k

Samesies. Had a nice 50 hr/week jerb until this Hurricane hit Haiti. Now, it's more like 70/week.TexasENG wrote:I'm back! Been working 60-70 since the first week of September, how's everyone doing?
Exhausted. So, I feel ya man. (This is what I'm blaming my 0-6 FF start as well--thanks for adding to that pain btw

right decision! absolutely no rush. I made a similar decision last year and I had already been out of school for three years - seemed like forever and I hated postponing. It'll work out for you. good luck!!Mikey wrote:Postponing my third LSAT take to next year October.

I chose beer. Rochefort 10 is my favorite. It's expensive, so I only get to drink it on special occasions. 100% recommend if you're into full flavored quadruples.

UGHHHHHHHHHHH. I just brute-forced my way through the TA game in less than 6 min...-0. I can't believe I went -2 on that! That would have been a 175. I know it hardly matters, but that I did so well on the rest of the test, I'm going to be kicking myself I went -2 in LG. That definitely wasn't supposed to happen!
