just went DLS within the past hour, honestly surprised i lasted this long. Complete 11/17, LSAT 169, UG GPA 3.5, grad GPA 3.7. Gonna call as soon as I can find my phone, assuming the office is still open.

+1. Did you manage to reach them? It looks like they are closed.andrew37 wrote:just went DLS within the past hour, honestly surprised i lasted this long. Complete 11/17, LSAT 169, UG GPA 3.5, grad GPA 3.7. Gonna call as soon as I can find my phone, assuming the office is still open.

No luck, the office closed at 5. I'll give it another shot in the morning, but i'm pretty confident it's a ding

They would have called if we had been accepted, right? Best of luck tomorrow. I am going to call in the morning, too.andrew37 wrote:Comma.Split wrote:+1. Did you manage to reach them? I feel like they would, unfortunately. Is it April 30?DiniMae wrote:If they happen to let you in over the next week or so, are they still holding you to the normal deposit deadline?
Sorry to those with recent DLS! Somehow going on my 6-month-iversary over here

Does anyone know what time the admissions opens today? 8:30 or 9? Thanks!

What time have most calls been occurring? Trying to limit the time I spend staring anxiously at my phone.

Yeah, they call for direct admits. Just confirmed it's a ding, so I guess I'll be moving across the bayComma.Split wrote:They would have called if we had been accepted, right? Best of luck tomorrow. Also, I think the office opens at 8:30 (kind of a moot point now I guess). Good luck!

I get the sense that most calls have been going out before noon PST lately (just from when they show up on LSN and here), but who knows.WilhelmIII wrote:What time have most calls been occurring? Trying to limit the time I spend staring anxiously at my phone.

Same boat. The worst part is having absolute no idea what to expect; people are still getting accepted, but most seem to be WL/ding. I go through a daily cycle of confidence and self-doubt

Ditto. Late January complete date so you both have a couple months head start on me. But each day is a day closer to the deposit deadlines and another couple point increase in my blood pressure. The fact that all three outcomes are still possible is I think what makes me the most anxious.

I hear you. I'm looking at a 4/20 deadline at NYU. My request to extend it has already been rejected and I'm just like "uhhhh, shoot." Not to mention, I have accomplished approximately zero work at work.Ridonkulous1 wrote:Ditto. Late January complete date so you both have a couple months head start on me. Remember that you're not required to withdraw from any school you haven't received a decision from. So if NYU is the solid second choice, just accept on 4/20 (If you haven't heard from Stanford by that time) and you can always choose Stanford later.LawSchoolGuy95 wrote:I hear you. I'm still trying to figure out what my second choice is (as I mentioned previously). My boss is not happy that I'm considering non-bay-area schools...

DLS just now. I did not call, but I'm certain it was a rejection.

I just kind of want to be able to stop feeling a slight frisson of disappointment every time my phone rings and it's not Faye, you know? I like my friends, I want to be wholeheartedly happy when they call.

I thought all the people checking status checkers five times a day were a little silly... until now. Now, I am one of those people.leslieknope wrote:I just kind of want to be able to stop feeling a slight frisson of disappointment every time my phone rings and it's not Faye, you know? Yeah, that's silly. I mean, what kind of person doesn't check five times an hour at least?quadsbaby wrote:

It's hard not to compare yourself to people with the same numbers who already got in or who just got in. It's like - "What's wrong with me, guys?"trynalaw123 wrote:That person has nearly the same stats as me, this is so nerve wracking!WilhelmIII wrote:New acceptance just reported on LSN, guess it's not quite over yet
