Might be a silly question but do people get accepted without interviewing? Is it common?

Any advice on sending an additional LOR? Have a really strong one I decided not to send in my lsac account. I've heard conflicting things about whether sending another LOR along with LOCI is well-received by adcomms.
If I do, is there a way to permit LSAC to send or should I ask my recommender to snail mail? Thanks to all in advance.
Hi everyone
So I am also a held candidate. I was just wondering though, is there any advantage to sending your LOCI in ASAP as opposed to the deadline stated in the email? Or do they consider everything after March and all acceptances have been given out? I've been taking my time working on it cause I wanted to do a couple drafts, etc.

Did yall receive any confirmation of receipt of your LOCI after you submitted it online?

I emailed it, and they emailed me back saying they put it in my file.

It seems to be pretty common for people to get accepted without an interview. I never had an interview, and all of my friends who were accepted also didn't have an interview.
TLS speculation seems to be that interviews are used for borderline candidates (ex. borderline numbers for acceptance or a scholarship).

I haven't received a confirmation, and I submitted it last week through the My Columbia Law portal. Anyone else?

Hey, I saw you posted that you had received a $30,000 scholarship from Columbia... just wondering, is that merit aid, and if so did you have to fill anything out or they just sent it to you... as well as how were you notified?
Thanks

UVA easily, 30k is basically negligible compared to Columbia's tuition plus cost of living

I don't really understand how Columbia's aid works....If you don't get a Butler or Hamilton and don't qualify for need are you SOL?

How long did it take to hear back from Columbia after submitting your financial aid info? I'm starting my third week of waiting now...

I don't think anyone has heard on aid except for those who got Hamiltons with their admissions offers.
