Also got the WL email. They are calling it priority reserve for us as well. Pretty disappointing as duke was my top choice, but life goes on I guess.

I went down to Durham last week to interview with Dean Hoye (I was placed on PR back in November). The way he explained it is that the Priority Reserve list is a (significantly) smaller pool of applicants that they continue to actively review throughout the cycle. Not entirely sure of the specific implications, but it seems safe to assume that PR has a better chance of being offered admission as people withdraw.

The Financial Aid Office will send you the scholarship application form via email; information about how to schedule an optional interview will also be available at that time. If you apply, you will receive your official admission letter and financial aid decision soon after the Scholarship Committee completes the review.

Could have been a lie, but during my scholarship interview last week, the interviewer said "we still have lots of money to give."

When you guys went UR2, Did the paragraph at the top of the status checker change? I went UR2 recently and mine changed to a shorter paragraph that feels very waitlisty.

I'm still on UR1, and this is what mine says:

Your application will go through several reviews. The process is very intensive and may take extra time to complete.
We are unable to provide an exact date of when you will be notified. A decision could be made at any time between now and the end of April.
If you would like to submit additional/updated material, feel free to do so by email (admissions@law.duke.edu) or U.S. postal mail.
We appreciate your continued interest in Duke Law School.

I think everyone's screen changed recently.
