I think theres a correlation between cat avatars and JS2's. I might have to get on that....

Congrats to all the JS2's! Exciting stuff.

above LSAT 75%, at GPA 75%.

ETA: on the call, JS mentioned/joked about the poll on top of this thread. I am definitely glad it was today and not "literally never," even though my vote was for the latter.

Literally never sounded so much cooler.

Looks like 9-10 JS2s today between here and LSN. Considering they've interviewed well over 100 people (HorseThief, what's the total now?), I have to think this was just the first small rush, and there will be big waves tomorrow/later in the week.

Congrats again all!

There must be many more JS2s than reported on here and LSN though. It actually seems like a fairly large wave to me.

Sure, there are obviously people that aren't on here or LSN (how dare they?), but I have to think that the proportion of people with high enough scores to get JS2s today that are on here is higher than the proportion of the overall applicant population that is. This is Top Law Schools after all.

EDIT: So based on that speculation, I would guess there probably weren't more than 20-25 acceptances today. Although perhaps "JS" above could enlighten us.

Historically "waves" have been done over 3-4 days with a smaller group on the first day, I think. So I'd guess they only made a small number of the total phone calls over the next few days. Seems like most are above 75% LSAT.

50th and 75th, mid-Nov interview and also silence. Not KJD. Don't put any stock into it until Christmas.

I count 25 on LSN on the first day last year, 23 day 2, and 1 on day 3. 14 on 12/18, 5 on 12/19, 1 on 12/20, 9 on 12/23, and 1 on 12/24. Total of 79 between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Extrapolating for people not on TLS/LSN, that's maybe 175-200 admits?

Upshot: there almost have to be many many more than there were today before the end of the year.

I was consoling myself by saying that only above both 75th got acceptances today and then my friend with a 173/ 3.9 got the call. It was about two hours ago and she interviewed in October.
