I've been checking through the c/o 2014 thread, and EA deferrals didn't start hearing back until March at the earliest (haven't gotten past March 2011 so I can't put a date on it). With applications down I think Cornell are realizing they need to get in the game and not let the good numbers that applied EA just pass them by. Wish I had made the EA deadline so I could join y'all, but I will have to be patient and cross my fingers for an acceptance (and maybe some of that lovely money they've been throwing around so far).

Shoot my status checker still says 12/12 after the deferral.

Admitted in December. I didn't get a dean's scholarship invitation. Should I assume this precludes me from receiving merit scholarships entirely? Or will I simply be stuck waiting for a while?

Doesn't preclude you, you'll just hear back around the normal March-April time.

Still haven't been complete since a 12/21 received date. Whe do you think it'll happen?

For what its worth, I sent my app in on 12/14, it was received 12/20, and complete via status checker 1/15 (received email it was complete on 1/16). So, hopefully, any day now.

I don't remember my exact dates for Michigan. They received my app on 12/17 (and then sent me email on 12/20 with the subject "We're still hoping to hear from you!"). I got an email about the status checker 1/2 and I think I went complete last week, 1/10 or 1/11 maybe, not sure. The date has changed a ton. It's currently 1/19.
