OK That actually does make me feel slightly better but still, I'm over it. Sorry to hear you've been waiting even longer though. Maybe we'll hear back by the end of today.
10/16 here

Yup same here. Under review since 10/16. Kinda just wish I'd get a response - whatever it may be.

Yeah I remember your crazy cycle. I'm bracing myself for something similar.

try this trick
1. Go here:
https://www.law.nyu.edu/admissions/jdad ... /index.htm
2. Click the "Academics" tab
3. Then click the "Admissions" tab
4. Click "JD Admissions"
5. Click "Application Online Status Check"
..and Voila (hopefully). Don't ask me how i figured that out.
This works for me. Another method is to simply modify the link when you click on the status checker. Remove the bolded part in http://www.law.nyu.edu
:443/admissions/jdadmissions/applicantstatuscheck/index.htm and it should work.
or that

For anyone w/ issues with status checker - here's the fix. Maybe we should add this to OP?

Just went under review again today. First movement since 12/5. Was there ever a consensus on how many times NYU looks at your app before W/A/D?
Merry Christmas everyone!

Interesting... correct me if I'm wrong, but everyone who moved today seems to be either a splitter or a reverse splitter with UR1 dates ranging from Oct to Dec.

Mine is up and down. Some days it works some days it doesn't (and yes I use IE - when it doesn't work, it doesn't work at all for me, whether I'm on Safari, Chrome, IE or Firefox!)

Assuming the splitter/r.splitter speculation is true, you think that's good or bad news?

Trends among LSAT takers, mainly. Not enough high scores to go around, so we're hoping they'll compromise on the GPA.
It's working pretty well so far for me, at least.

Are any deferred EDs starting to think about writing a LOCI? I read through last year's thread and there was no apparent consensus about whether to write one before or after an eventual waitlist decision in April. Of course, also no evidence that a LOCI does much at all either way.

Can someone please tell me what is the relevance of a 2nd UR update in regards to an admission decision?
If Im not not mistaken, some or even most of those that were already admitted went straight from "under review" to "decision letter sent" right?
Why is it that certain applicants are having their files updated with a 2nd under review date? Does that mean a likely acceptance, wait list, or rejection? Any insight into this would be appreciated.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
