In at Hastings and the Dean hinted at a very nice scholly so that's good! Not exactly Boalt or Northwestern, but what's a reverse splitter to do?

How many law schools does SF have? I forgot Hastings is in the city... I really hope you get into Boalt and Penn.

I really hope so too. I also hope UCLA de-Waitlists me! But with my LSAT it just is not likely to occur.

I have a UIUC decision on deck for this Friday, which would also be a sexy acceptance Hastings places really well in the bay and I have ties to the area, so it's a solid Plan B for me (Much moreso than Cardozo was).

I did. I sent my app in mid-November.... I haven't really seen anyone else getting three UCR dates so I wonder what that means.

U Chicago already did :/ Now nothing will hold them back. I'm seriously contemplating writing a LOCI NOW so I can at least get waitlisted. I seriously regret not applying ED.

Am I the only person who feels that being jerked around by each of these schools for 3 to 6 months makes me not want to attend their school. This is less of an issue with Penn who creeps up right around the 3 month mark as some others. Like NYU... I applied in the beginning of October... probably won't get an answer until June... and that is assuming that I am not placed on the waitlist... then it would not be until September until they are a week into their classes. To think, we actually have to pay to be treated in such a way. I am sorry, but if you can't look at files, group them into stacks for different contingencies, and then issue out decisions in a fairly speedy manner then I can only imagine what it must be like if you have a problem with your financial aid while attending... maybe you'll hear in six months. The whole process has completely gotten under my nerves now. It is just ridiculous.

It's ok, you will feel better once you are admitted. Also, they treat admits differently, all schools do.
