Does WUSTL give need based grants? Does anyone have a sense of how the process might play out for someone without access to enough loans to cover their expenses?

$15K per year Scholars In Law Award. Not as much as others have been offered, but certainly more than the $0 I was expecting with my super low GPA. Congrats to everyone who received offers today!

I'm interested in this, too. My suspicion is that, as a private school, they won't really be offering grant aid. But that is pure speculation.

Hey, has anyone (besides the 4.0 gpa people on lsn) gone into review yet with a 167? I've been waiting so patiently but its starting to drive me crazy

I got my acceptance on Thursday with a 167/3.6X, however I'm URM so that might have something to do with it?

From what I can deduce from LSN, everyone who has heard back has either a 168+, or a 167/166 with a 3.8+, or is URM. Maybe I'm wrong, but that's the pattern I see there. I'm here with a 167/3.15, waiting as well, still "application complete." I'm going to need to be making some decisions soon... how long could this possibly take? Seems like WUSTL had decided by now in past cycles (again from LSN)... maybe they're holding out in the hopes that they can get away with admitting fewer 167s this year?

Got my Scholar in Law award too. $84k. No GPA/rank stip. Admitted on the 9th. Much faster turn around than I had anticipated. It's not my top choice, so that money will likely get passed onto someone else as my cycle continues.

Yea, it is definitely my top choice now. Despite my numbers, I have pretty solid softs and a really good upward trend in my GPA.

I did not, but I have a good friend from prep school who graduated from WUSTL law last year and she said she was able to negotiate.

Seems to depend on LSAT. At or above 168 has been turning pretty quick.

I got a waitlist at W&L, but WUSTL gave me 60k. Kind of shocking. They have a special place in my heart. I'm pretty sure I'll be in St. Louis in the fall.
