I haven't had anything in my status for months. Today, it comes up as complete with my original complete date in late November.

+1. I really want W&M. If I get it, it will make my decision a lot harder because I literally fell in love with the school when I visited.snapdragon wrote:I know.. I want W&M so badly.. please don't toy with me. Just accept me. It's a good idea. I'm really cool, I promise.mcubberly wrote:+1 on 11/12/10. W&M, I know you don't want me, or at least aren't sure what to do with me, but I want youuuuu!!! <3

I feel like this new "status update" isn't really an update at all but they just decided to release the info to everyone, which would fulfill at least one of their purposes, which is to drive us all crazy.

I consider my application complete only when W&M has accepted me. So, I'm going to interpret this change from blank to complete to mean I should schedule my visit.

Re: William & Mary 2011
So...My current offer from WM is for the graduate fellowship-no scholly. Making my tuition about $21k/yr and I will get the $4k/yr taxable stipend as long as I mantain a B average.
I just got an offer from AZ State of $20k for the first year and $15k/yer for 2L and 3L. This makes my tuition $1600 for the first year and $6600 each year after that. All I have to do is "remain in good standing."
I was all but completely committed to attending WM, but this is making me second guess myself.
Any thoughts?
Thanks.

W&M doesn't really deny anyone; they put everyone who isn't accepted on a massive WL. For this reason, it's fair to think of being WLed as a de facto rejection.timbo9 wrote:anyone know about anybody being denied by w&m during this admissions cycle?

If working in Arizona--> ASU, if working anywhere else -->W&M. Pretty simple IMOCapitol A wrote:So...My current offer from WM is for the graduate fellowship-no scholly. Making my tuition about $21k/yr and I will get the $4k/yr taxable stipend as long as I mantain a B average.

Thanks. That's kind of what I'm thinking...Its just that the enormous price difference has me freaking out.yepyep wrote:If working in Arizona--> ASU, if working anywhere else -->W&M. You really think WM does better nationwide (with the exception of AZ) compared to ASU? and will give me enough more non-AZ options to justify the cost?

Not only did I go from blank to complete 1/21, I got a W&M brochure in the mail today encouraging me to check them out. Ugly trend.

Thank you. I read a post from a 3L at University of Houston who said that his opinion was: If you can get $ from t30, that's the way to go, no question. Otherwise, cheapest school in your region. I'm banking on that being good advice.queenlizzie13 wrote:I agree with ttlllsss FWIW.Capitol A wrote:Thank you.
