Is this your first application complete? People are referring to updated complete dates. Mine updated 1/26 and then finally got decision on 2/2 (on which date complete date was updated again). Some people have seen even more updated complete dates...

So, did these emails arrive later, like at 7 pm like the posts themselves? I'm still at 1/29, and I thought I had solid WUSTL numbers - 166/3.8ish. I need to stay calm, but I really hope they send out another round tomorrow - I can hardly stand the idea of braving the weekend without a result.

As in the post above I got my email at about 530 PM ET. Im 3.5/167 updated at 1/29. I'm thinking that yours should be soon. Hope for tomorrow

No, I think it was at "Application Complete" 12/03/09. I don't think it ever switched to "Under Review" or anything.

Regardless, I'm not holding my breath. I don't even know why LSP says "Weak Consider" for me.

Updated to complete 2/3/10 after going complete way back in november or december, the link went dead for me today from the initial status checker email, I had to go through their main site.

Strange question, but what is the first line of everyone's acceptance email? I only ask because mine doesn't look very...formal. In fact, I received the email about admitted students day before I received anything stating I was accepted.

I am really falling for WUSTL, but they only gave $5k/year to an applicant with my numbers last year.

My application was complete on 2/2 and I received my acceptance letter via email on 2/4 if that helps anyone.

How competitive is Wash U? Its the highest ranked Ive gotten into so far (according to US News) but I don't really know much more than what Ive read on the website.

I dont want to drive the 4 hours to DC, i wouldnt even think about the trips some of you are looking at

I haven't done a long road trip in awhile and it kind of sounds like fun, but maybe it's just one of those things that looks better on paper....

you wouldnt go nuts in a car by yourself for 15+ hours?

Yeah.....the driving idea is starting to seem deeply flawed.

+1 on alternative means. I really like driving, but long stints in the car become excruciating for me. Couple that with a speeding ticket in the middle of nowhere on my last solo 8hour stint, I fly when possible now.

If not tomorrow, probably by end of business on Tuesday (for the 2/2 and 2/3 crowd). Seems like the order may have to do with the specific complete dates, with some possible random luck of the shuffle mixed in. Could be that I'm looking for a pattern in chaos, though.

It means the wheels are turning. You may be getting a decision within a week or two... or you might not. Trend seems to be that people are getting acceptances within that time frame after recompleting once or twice, so don't freak out on us.

When I spoke to WUSTL yesterday, they said they don't do rolling admissions (then why all of the acceptances?) and that most decision would go out early April or late March. Since the majority of applicants are Rejected or wait listed, then we know nothing that we did not already know.
