also, that bracket thing... I know nothing about brackets. why did nyc beat out boston when nyc had a lower number next to it than boston did?

event friday... still haven't figured out how I'm going to get there OR informed work.

the number was its 'seed', as in 2nd seed being better than 3rd seed. like in sports the higher seed (1 being higher than 2) is the one favored to win, or with the most wins under its belt coming into the tournament.

oh ok. overall not just amongst the two in that one bracket section right? I thought maybe it was points, in which case higher was better... I was interpreting it like a game theory tree.

yeah you should call. I actually never received my washu one either but when I visited the woman said "oh! I know what happened" and sent it to me immediately. So it's likely just some fluke in their system.
Call financial aid, get your gw id and the status of your package. Email Dean Richard with your id and she'll email it fast for ya.

Nope, that's reasonable. I've never read anything in that format for Constitutional Law before, but it'll definitely be discussion-based. So we'll be spending most of the time bouncing our ideas off of the professors and onto other students who make them better. At least in my experience of classes and mock classes, there's always been just a couple cases of reading... so you get a better idea of the idea behind it and not just that case itself. This seems like it's trying to get your head around con law.

it was 8 for me. I didn't read it either but it looks like it gives an overview of modern analysis of constitutional law and has a few questions to mull over in between sections.

nooo I'm very quiet in class unless I'm called on or just can't understand something (sometimes that happens, where the professor says something and in my head it's the opposite and I'm all 'wtf.' I try to look it up first but sometimes I stay confused so I have to ask). I just took some undergrad law classes (and I guess the school visit fake classes) to be sure I actually wanted law school...
here's how un-gunner I am: I JUST bought my flight for friday's stuff. before that I was at this place called la-tea-da where I wore funny hats with people who spoke languages I didn't understand and I had a super-good time being totally clueless.

I'm still waiting as well. Got an email that my app was in review at the end of February...

I submitted my app first week of March and have not heard a peep from GW, not even "we have received your application", so I called today and the admissions lady told me the deposit deadline was extended (which I already knew) and I should hear something within the next 4-6 WEEKS. holy cow!

GW will be my jam. I've finally decided. I sent in my deposit today. The jump in rankings had nothing to do with it though it is welcome news. The scholarship offer I received, combined with its DC location, was the deciding factor for me. I'm very stoked for next year!
