I wrote a really heartfelt, genuine, and specific "Why Fordham" statement, combined with my stats (167, 3.5x URM), and I still didn't get in (I was WL'ed). So it obviously makes absolutely no difference.AlanShore wrote:+1.. any thoughts on this? is it too early?mps wrote:Long time lurker, first time poster...
Congratulations to everyone who got in!! I must say reading this board is really freaking me out. Oh, Fordham, why are you doing this to us?
Am thinking of adding a "why Fordham" essay to my file, I wonder if that will actually make any difference.

Hey everyone. I was accepted (FT) on December 3, but still have not received anything in the mail (I live in Florida). I called this week and was told it was mailed on the fourth. Has anyone received anything in the mail? I'm afraid it got lost

It seems as if Fordham still has a ton of EA decisions to get out by Tuesday. Anyone have any idea if any decisions will be going out today?

Hey guys, I applied rather late. I'm curious what the average turn-around time has been for the RD folks.
Edits: And has anyone that sent it out within last month heard yet?

Just out of curiosity, were you offered any merit based scholarship money? If so, did you hear in your initial letter or was it sometime after?jrock12 wrote:for those care...for my cycle last year:

Wow, I'm really sorry and really shocked. (And hopefully Fordham's adcomm decisions are not indicative of what's going on at other schools this cycle!). Wishing Fordham wasn't my top choice right now!

^ This is actually ridiculous. Who does Fordham think it is this year?? Those stats have a fair chance up to CCN, but they got a WL from Fordham? Things are a-changing at Fordham this year!!dakatz wrote:I wrote a really heartfelt, genuine, and specific "Why Fordham" statement, combined with my stats (167, 3.5x URM), and I still didn't get in (I was WL'ed).
