Because they have over 10,000 applicants and all of those people and their decisions have to be checked and double checked before being sent out. Could you imagine if we, being as crazy as we are all becoming, received a false admit or something similar?

FUCK. Waitlisted for the parttime program. 168/3.5. Well, this is awesome.

Was everyone waitlisted today pt? Maybe they're trying to see the numbers of the pt applicants to see if they have a pool they can use to raise their numbers. I dunno. But this really bummed me out, with decent WE and good numbers for the PT program I thought I would be in for sure.

He didn't imply that they were all sent out right now. I'm sure they've received at least a few thousand by now, in which case his point still stands.

I know we've all been waiting, but we don't want just any decision, we want the right decision. Coming to that decision for hundreds or thousands of people takes organization and, most importantly time. It sucks that sending an e-mail took 5 days, but there is probably a lot of stuff involved in notifying applicants. Hell, it took well over a week for me to receive my envelope.

With that said.... I do wish they could be faster :)

Well, 1st dr's were all accepts, 2nd rnd seemd to be wl's, um, not looking forward to being in the third round...

Wtf with wl'ing those pt #s - maybe they are trying to get similar pt #s to ft since they now count

I applied to both, but I don't have the numbers for FT and LSP puts me at "admit" for PT. I guess I could be in the reject pile post Thanksgiving.
