My application was complete as of Thursday January 12, 2017. It's been three weeks, applied Early Decision, and I have not heard anything. I don't actually think they've looked at my application yet. I added a letter to my application a few days ago and yesterday the admissions person said they will look at it when they get to reviewing my application. I think it might take another two weeks or so before I hear anything.

I am in a bit of a pickle here. I used the Admitted Student trick and I am 99% sure I am in. However, I have not gotten the official snail mail yet. I want to go to the Admitted Student Day next week, but I do not want to look like an ass if somehow I was not supposed to know yet. Any ideas?

Once you can log in, I don't see why you can't RSVP...although the main event is the March 23-24 open house.

FWIW, I applied not too long ago and got an interview request today.

If you are in, then I'm certain the letter is in the mail. Unless they track the letters then there would be very slim chance they would notice that you register before the letter is delivered.

I can't remember the exact date I went complete. The 23rd or 24th of January I think. The email was time stamped 2:28 EST.

It's not like they don't know the ASW trick exists. They know that applicants die of anxiety and just want to know if they're in, I doubt they care if you RSVP now.

My stats are on the lower end for Georgetown. Not sure why they would send it to me except maybe because of my interest in public interest law. Does anyone know if that scholarship email has anything to do with the Public Interest law Scholars Program? Should I mention that I want to be considered for that scholarship in this email? So far I only have scholarship information from lower ranked schools.

I'm in the same boat. What did you end up doing?

Also I've been nominated for a scholarship at a higher ranked school. Is that still a bargaining chip for this feeler email if I've only been nominated?

I feel your pain, I was denied at 2:38 am this morning. I applied ED and had been deferred. Wasn't expecting a decision until February 28th so I'm still in shock. Good luck to everyone else this cycle.

Anyone know if its possible to change from part time to full time? I was accepted PT in January. I applied FT/PT because GULC was a reach and I wanted to maximize my chances for admission. But then I unexpectedly got into 2 other T14s. I would honestly consider attending GULC over the others bc they're in rural areas and my wife will have a much harder time finding a good job. Now that I have those other options, taking 3.5-4 years to graduate and never seeing my wife on days I have classes seems less worthwhile.

It doesn't hurt to ask, but since you applied for both and got accepted into PT, it's unlikely that they would grant your request.
