Interviewed early Feb. Status checker updated to say they were reviewing my interview on 2/9.

Anyone know how/when they do fin aid after you're admitted?
you have to fill out a form and send them your taxes if you want to be considered for need-based. the form will be attached to your acceptance email

Probably won't get need-based if it involves parents information (despite being self-supporting). What about merit aid?

How long after I got placed in reserve is it still okay for me to send a LOCI? Also how long of a LOCI is acceptable?

P sure general consensus is, at least at this point in the cycle, to send it sooner rather than later and for it to be no more than a page.

Waitlisted.

I... don't even know what to do now. My top choice (Cornell) just waitlisted me with an LSAT score a good bit above their 75th percentile. A safety did the same. Another target school did the same. That is my cycle so far and nothing more.

LOCI, LOCI, LOCI. Cornell is infamous for wanting you to want them. Make sure they know it.

Sorry to hear :( Did you write any optional essays for these schools? Are you a splitter?

Yeah, I wrote them a "Why Cornell" essay. I am a splitter at their 25th GPA-wise and a solid chunk above their 75th LSAT-wise.

I thought the "Why Cornell" I sent them would have done it. There's much more I could write I'm sure, but it still feels hopeless now. Did I miss the date for those interviews? Should I tell Cornell they're my top choice? Is that language non-binding enough (ie. maybe convince them to give me a small scholarship) but still strong enough to get my point across?

Honestly I'd just hold on- they're clearly trying to shore up GPA first but I think they'll eventually need some high LSAT's to keep their 75ths...so you've still got a chance.

Interviewed on 1/30 and status just changed to "Your application is ready for review 2/23". Looks like I should be expecting a decision today?

Hey, I'm a waitlisted candidate. Anyone have any tips for keeping in contact with Cornell? I know they're big on LOCIs, but I already sent one in last month. Should I send yet another? Or just keep waiting?

So I got my scholly award. I know $ is a bit of a blackbox, but what percentage does need-based aid play?

Can anyone confirm that the CSS profile and tax forms are not necessary to receive a merit-based scholarship?

Confirm. I filled in that one page and sent it as pdf, that's it.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
