In today. Missed the call, so they sent me an email (I'm abroad). Above both 75ths, submitted mid December. Can't remember my UR2
Edit: UR1 was 1/3, if it matters to anyone

Congrats! However I am triggered by your use of inequality symbols.AJ1010 wrote:Accepted via phone call at 3:20 pm. 50 < LSAT <25 50< GPA < 25 URM. Applied the last week of October. No Why Penn essay.

Accepted via email! (I'm living abroad). Submitted mid-November; UR2 1/6. GPA between 50th and 75th, LSAT above 75th. Wrote a Why Penn.

Does anyone know how merit scholarships work? Do they tell you if you receive aid when they accept you, like Columbia, or does it come later?

I'm wondering this too. Their website suggests "Nominations are made on a rolling basis, starting in January." However, I haven't heard of anyone getting nominated yet this year. Also for the Levy they say, "The Office of Admissions will select nominees for consideration from among our candidates for admission." If they're selecting from candidates not admits that implies to me that you'd hear at the time of admission (like Columbia), but I'm hoping that's not the case.nonononono wrote:Does anyone know how merit scholarships work? I doubt it's the case, they have accepted many candidates already with Levy qualifying numbers and no one has reported a scholarship offer.AndromedaGalaxy wrote:I'm wondering this too. Waitlisted, 167/3.8x. That's fine, I don't want to live in Philly anyways.

Could be. I'm assuming you also didn't hear back from them today? I'm going to contact the admissions office just to make sure...I'll let you know what they say.eck456 wrote:mine looks like this too, i don't think it's an issue I think it's just shitty coding where it turns red even if you applied RD if you didn't turn in literally every piece of paperwork (even though you intentionally didn't turn in the ED form)Dreadhead168 wrote:In the status checker, does anybody's "Requirements List" show up red (like something is missing from your application)?
I have my standard requirements checked off (CAS report, optional essays, PS, resume), yet there are two bullet points that are not checked (quoted exactly below):
(1) "Early Decision Agreement..."
(2) "only needed if applied Early Decision"
FWIW, I applied regular decision, not ED.
It's been like this for a while now and I haven't contacted the admissions office yet because my application has been complete (and because of the disclaimer at the bottom of the page: Applicants whose files are incomplete will be notified via email of any required items that are missing from their application)
I've been UR2 since 1/9 (which I know really means nothing in terms of when I should expect a decision), but I've sat through a few rounds of acceptances, dings, and WLs and want to make sure it's not because of some technical error. Anybody else seeing this kind of thing?

Nearly a month after submission, my application just finally entered committee review. I'm a 3.6x/171 and submitted only one of the optional essays along with the application. Too late/bad timing to send a second?

If the one you submitted was the "why Penn" then you're totally fine.Nightwing wrote:Nearly a month after submission, my application just finally entered committee review. I'm a 3.6x/171 and submitted only one of the optional essays along with the application. Too late/bad timing to send a second?
