oh my god i can't get into my status checker because none of my passwords are working. i did the "forgot password" thing hours ago but it hasn't sent me an email i just wanna know if im in send help

yeah just got mine. Kinda sucks because uchicago was my top T6.

Duke looking more and more certain. will have to see how much the better chicago school gives me

I'm a little happy I didn't have to turn down a school like Chicago, but upset that I didn't get to lol. Plus the acceptance would have looked nice for negotiations and telling people (I like some praise, what can I say)

My favorite part was:

Got the WL email. Actually pretty surprised that it straight up asks for me to write a Why essay if I "havent already done so" ...

I was surprised at this too, but sorta hopeful? Like maybe there's a shot at getting off the waitlist once you send it in?

Yeah, i thought consensus on TLS was to not send one in for the T6 schools because they dont want it because they already know why you want to go.

Waitlisted without an interview invite. Might have preferred an outright ding though. I was waitlisted applying there for undergrad too and am not sure I want to go through that wait all over again... but it's tempting.
