I'm a little happy I didn't have to turn down a school like Chicago, but upset that I didn't get to lol. Plus the acceptance would have looked nice for negotiations and telling people (I like some praise, what can I say)proteinshake wrote:I wasn't gonna pay sticker anyway hahachargers21 wrote:That sucks, I'm sorry :/ I got waitlisted so I think the world is trying to point me towards someplace warmer, tooproteinshake wrote:dinged.

My favorite part was:
"This is not a decision you should take personally. [...] I personally review each file, so rest assured that your application received careful consideration."
They left out "and it sucked, kthxbye"

I was surprised at this too, but sorta hopeful? Like maybe there's a shot at getting off the waitlist once you send it in?

Yeah, i thought consensus on TLS was to not send one in for the T6 schools because they dont want it because they already know why you want to go.jessmeesh wrote:patttt wrote:Got the WL email. Waitlisted. No interview so no surprise there.

Waitlisted without an interview invite. Might have preferred an outright ding though. I was waitlisted applying there for undergrad too and am not sure I want to go through that wait all over again... but it's tempting.
