Just got my call! Sadly it went to voicemail, I was in a meeting. Just called the admissions office and spoke to a random person who laughed at my repeated "thank yous."

Congrats to all the other admits today as well!

I checked the financial aid status and mine says "application in final stage of review." Anyone else see this before they got their offer? How long was the turnaround?

I heard back with some news 5 days after final review. IDK if there is a trend, though.

not a stupid question. a link (to faaps) was posted a couple pages back, but i was wondering how you guys knew to check there. i can't find any direction to that link in the admitted students website or in any correspondence i have from nyu.

I believe it was from people who already received award info.

I got it from the financial aid office when I emailed asking about how to apply for merit-only aid.

If the financial aid application status says that is is under review, does anyone know if that means I am no longer under consideration for named scholarships? I submitted my financial aid application on Feb 2nd.

In my case, I am under consideration for a named scholarship and the finaid site says that my application it is under review so they are not mutually exclusive statuses! Hope that helps.
