I know plenty of people who got into T6 and up with December scores. Just be ready to apply when scores come out.

There is nothing unusual about applying with a December score. In reality, some of the September test takers will be retaking in December.

How about hedging and retaking in February just for scholarship purposes? But yeah, seems possible I might ending up taking the path you did and re-applying next year. In hindsight, what's the verdict on passing a cycle?

It isn't hindsight yet, so I'm not sure I could give a definitive verdict. So far I'm happy though, I'm looking forward to the year and cycle. Ask me again next September and it could be a whole different story.

I think if you're going to retake however, it would make more sense to do it in December. Don't sit out a cycle though, still apply and see what your options are.

When I was a freshman, my pre-law advisor told me I needed a 170 to get accepted at UF Law regardless of my GPA because they are so prestigious.

You are in the TLS Pre-Law Society, it has much better employment outcomes.

And standards, and knowledge, and cool factor.

My pre-law advisor told me that "every single person" at T-14 schools scored in the 170's.
I just wonder how they get these jobs if I can learn more about admissions in 3 months of reading a forum than they can in a career?

Every lawyer in this town went to Oklahoma, so around here that's considered the place to go. A 150 is considered a good score here.

Once I get my LSAT score back mid-October, I'll check into some of the c/o 2018 school threads, but will probably have to create some myself.

I'm mostly targeting strong regionals for full-rides. I have money saved up for living expenses and have no interest in taking out a penny in loans. I'm pretty debt-averse.
