I believe our LOCI should be sufficiently demonstrated by our obsession here at TLS!

Here we go.
Will I get into Berkeley tomorrow? "Most likely."
I asked the same question.
"Very Doubtful."
I hope it means I'll be admitted, just not tomorrow.

In fact, according to the 8-ball, I'm going to suffer through the worst cycle that ever was.

I asked "Will I get into Berkeley?" and it responded with some version of "Ask again later" three times. Even the 8-ball is cool with making me wait.

So my phone rang, and I was super excited about it...only to look at caller ID and find that it was my dad. Who was calling to make sure I'd finished applying to law school. Sighhh.

I'm in my 30s and my dad texts me 2-3 times per week about any updates with my apps

Haha, aww. I think my dad is more set on me going to law school than I am. Living vicariously and all that. Hopefully I won't disappoint him. D:

I had a similar dad-call experience today. He was asking about how law school info was trickling in, and told me sheepishly that he had found TLS and was doing some skimming through. His question: What does JS1 stand for? It made me chuckle.

Haha, speaking of living vicariously my dad actually went to law school (and has been teaching since the mid-80s) but I think he only applied to the one major in-state school so the anticipation from 10+ apps is something he missed out on

At least he hasn't started using emoticons

The Berkeley Applicant Thread, better known as the Dad Law Thread. Once you pass the bar, you can say, "I'm a lawyer," and he'll say, "Hi, A Lawyer, I'm Dad."

sadness. also why can't I see your gif (presumably it's a gif -- can't see it, afterall!)
also does berkeley ever deviate from its wednesday notification scheme? past posts make me think that it will be all quiet on the western front until next wednesday for everyone?

Last week they admitted ppl off the FR list. I don't think we will see any movement today, but tomorrow.

kind of uneasy, though. took a peek at last year's thread corresponding to this week... it was a dingfest, for sure. they had also already notified people of FR2, it looks like.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
