Sent in a LOCI. I'm really happy with Berk, but leaving LA is seeming harder and harder, so an offer from USC would be very very tempting.

My status just went to "Final Review". Does anyone recall how long after that they received a decision? Feels like I've been waiting forever. Thanks.

Anyone attending the tour this Friday. I noticed it said business casual. I thought it'd be casual since it was just a tour. So if anyone has attended an earlier tour...have ppl actually dressed business casual or more dark jeans and an untucked dress shirt?

Re: USC c/o 2016 Applicants
Fortunately none of the schools I've been accepted to would be at sticker (GI Bill will pay for a pretty good portion of it). Truth be told, it would probably take some pretty strange circumstances for me to pick USC (like unexpectedly large scholarship amount) over one of my many other options (applied to 18 schools, accepted at 14, WL at 4). Mainly it's just nice to have the full set of cards in front of me so I can go from here.eav1277 wrote:are you considering it at sticker? I like USC but I'd have a very hard time loving it at sticker
I took the usual advice of applying broadly and now I have a large pool I'm swimming in. Tis the life of a splitter.

Thanks for your service. The gi bill must take a lot of stress out of the process. I have a friend who's between Georgetown, GW, and SC right now (he'll have just about all of it covered by the GI Bill if he chooses SC or GW).
What are your fav schools right now?

Right now my favorite is definitely a California school, but you'll have to check out my LSN to figure out which one I'm probably talking about.
All the best to everyone still waiting and I hope people who choose to attend USC are happy and excited for the fall.

USC manages to keep its 18th ranking, California schools got killed.

Yep. Destroyed. The good news (for me) is a couple of my top out of state choices bumped up a few spots! Still waiting on USC with (optimistic) fingers crossed, though... Anytime now.zman wrote:USC manages to keep its 18th ranking, California schools got killed.

I have a scholarship that I'm interested in negotiating. If I reserve that scholarship now would that preclude me from any negotiation attempts? If so, does that mean I can only negotiate pre-April 15 / before I hear back from some select schools who are super slow with scholarship information?

Bad news for CA in general.zman wrote:USC manages to keep its 18th ranking, California schools got killed.
Although employment and rankings seem to have little relation, honestly. Doesn't really matter.
