I just want to be you. Three full scholarships already... Looking at your numbers, it seems like you completely deserve it but I still envy your success a lotbernaldiaz wrote: I didn't have a why Cornell either and was fortunate enough to receive the scholarship offer so I don't think that'll preclude you.

Congrats dean's scholarship recipients! Or potential recipients anyhow... I was invited to apply early on and was informed via email yesterday that I didn't get it, but they're offering me a $120000 scholarship instead. Not too shabby... And very tempting!

Samesies....I wasn't expecting a 6-figure scholarship from anywhere so this makes Cornell stand out BIG TIME. Even if you don't choose to attend, you still have that number as bargaining chip elsewhere.lsacqueen wrote:Congrats dean's scholarship recipients! Or potential recipients anyhow... Oh and after being deferred to RD, I think I just got my UR2 yesterday!! That means the decision is around the corner? Can't wait. I really like Cornell.

Finally got the "actively reviewing files" email. Decision in a month then, maybe. Applied late November.

Admitted today (status checker) after being deferred from EA.
I retook/ increased my LSAT score in December, so that may have helped (also wrote a short LOCI).

Another EA deferral acceptance right here, today via email. I didn't send them any new materials or a LOCI.

In via email today!
- Applied ED in mid Oct
- Deferred to RD in early Dec
- 179/3.47
No scholarship offer/info that I could see in the JD admit packet attached to the email. Did anyone get scholly offers in their initial acceptance email, or were these sent out at a later date?

Congrats to all the new admits!
Out of curiosity, did you all get a number of updates after going complete before you heard back? I'm in a weird spot because I applied EA back in November, went complete, but then later saw that they decided to hold my file for my December score (without me indicating that they should). I went complete again early January after scores came out, but now I'm a bit confused about what exactly I should be looking out for anymore. Thoughts?

Haven't been posting regularly but I went complete on 12/21 and have received 2 updates since (1/8, 1/16). Hoping a decision is quickly forthcoming.
