DITTO. Doing a tour next Monday and plan to casually swing by the admissions office...PinkRevolver wrote:mcdeeremitch wrote:The more and more I think about it Fordham is definately the right choice for me...I plan on doing everything I can short of stalking them to get off the waitlist

Okay what are your approaches to all this? lol I was waitlisted as well and sent in my LOCI; its very program-specific. As an NYC educator (evening applicant) I focused a lot of the social service clinics and other programs Fordham offers that would be great for my future career in education law. Since I'm in the city, I want to do a visit as well very soon - can we specifically ask to speak with admissions reps :p? i have a lot riding on this since I received a city employee scholarship and basically if Fordham takes me off waitlist, I'll get like half off tuition.Munchkin318 wrote:DITTO. Honestly I'm not even sure if we can talk to people in admissions or what to say. Fordham is my top choice by far so I definitely don't want to mess it up. I just feel like actually going to talk to them shows extra interest maybe?kmh504 wrote:Okay what are your approaches to all this? lol I was waitlisted as well and sent in my LOCI; its very program-specific. MAKE SURE YOU SEE SOMEONE IN ADMISSIONS!!!kmh504 wrote:I guess my real question is - is it worth going if admissions doesn't even know we're there? Clearly we all want to visit for ourselves because we really want to attend but how will admissions know of our efforts to "show" interest if we can't even formally introduce ourselves while on campus? lol
Black Law brother - did you set up an appointment with admissions or freely walk in their office?blacklawboss wrote:MAKE SURE YOU SEE SOMEONE IN ADMISSIONS!!!kmh504 wrote:I guess my real question is - is it worth going if admissions doesn't even know we're there? Be honest, passionate, and committal. They want to know if you are taken off of the WL you will enroll. Speak about your personal qualities and what you have to add to the incoming class. As an evening student, make sure you convey that you intend to remain an evening student. There is too much migration into day from evening program. I hope this helped.
ummm it's Blacklaw BOSS lol, I just walked in.kmh504 wrote:Black Law brother - did you set up an appointment with admissions or freely walk in their office?blacklawboss wrote:MAKE SURE YOU SEE SOMEONE IN ADMISSIONS!!!kmh504 wrote:I guess my real question is - is it worth going if admissions doesn't even know we're there?
