Hoping someone can help me decipher this. I don't know what the consensus is about the meaning of updates.

complete 10/31 (approximately), 11/16 w/ interview request, 11/23 (day after interview), 11/30.

packet in the mail maybe?

also, does anyone know about how long it would take a packet to get from gtown and the west coast?

3-5 days..........the delay is in D.C., not the west coast........ so, I figure that, your 11/23 incorporated your interviewer's report, and now, followed by today's decision noted as 11/30. Assuming de3cision made, then, if your're brave enough, check your status checker....... if it doesn't say your WL, then YOUR ARE IN !!!!
sO, DECISION MADE 11/30, PUT IN THE MAIL 12/1, ADD 3 DAYS AND YOU SHOULD EXPECT ACCEPTANCE NEXT tUESDAY.

Since I'm awaiting my next update (after interviewer update), can you PM once you get your acceptance?? Thanks.

So you think that, if they did in fact make a decision today, that I'm accepted if it doesn't say waitlisted? I looked at my status checker, and it doesn't say waitlisted, it says "Application Completed" still. GOD I HOPE YOU ARE RIGHT! After my interview, I am really excited about Georgetown,

Het I just got my fourth update........... Oringal aomplete 10/31, then 11/16 w/ interview request, then 11/30 (after 11/29 interview), and now 12/1.....also no WL on status checker. Do I dare hope...... now I mean it.... ya gotta tPM me when your acceptance comes.......... I'm just 3 days after you. However, I'm in NYC, and it's the same mail time as the west coast. Fingers crosses !!!!

This is almost my exact same situation as well. I submitted 10/18. First complete on 10/28 after interview request was sent. Interviewed 11/26. Status checker updated 11/29 and 11/30. It still says 'Application Completed'. Can anyone verify that the status checker indicates Waitlist for those who are waitlisted?

I just had my 4th update to 12/1....so I's a day behind you....can you PM me when your acceptance arrives??? (Almost got no more nails to bite...)

I just had my first update to 12/1 and it came with an interview request. I'm trying to figure out if I should take it, because I have finals starting next week then I'm going to my parents for most of the break... That could make it difficult if it was going to be an in person interview=\

Kids, I applied to Georgetown for kicks in mid-November after getting a waiver, and was admitted on 11/21. Electronically printed postage stamp is from the 22nd, but the post office processed it on the 28th.

I live in California, so the turnaround was 3 days.

Considering they say that the interview will not hurt your application but is highly encouraged, I would say you would weaken your chances to decline the interview. It probably will not be next week, during your finals, and if it is during your break, you might be able to let them know that you will be traveling and where you will be during what times. They are obviously interested enough in you to offer you the opportunity, so I would be very surprised if they cannot accomodate your circumstances considering a phone interview is an option for so many others.
