I live in DC and am really hoping that my letter arrives in the mail today so that my nerves are calmed a bit.

Looking at the past few years of LSN data almost everyone who applies before January with my numbers got in (1 rejection and a few waitlists over 3 years). So I am hoping that this whole admitted students thing is an odd glitch.

Ditto on the data. I'm in DC too...so hopefully today is the day. Fingers crossed

Would be quite anomalous if neither of us were in.

Crap. I just called the admissions office. The lady I spoke with said she wasn't sure why I was able to access the admitted students website but a decision has been made.

WTF... This might be the cruelest joke ever.

I think the general consensus has been decision made + no e-mail with a ding = admit

TrustmeImanActress and others: The dean at GULC specifically told me it's very, very rare for him to phone -- so please don't worry if you didn't get a call! Almost all of GULC's acceptances are sent via snail mail. I will say that the personal touch made me a lot happier about the prospect of GTown, though.

I also told my family already and it would really suck to be rejected after being totally excited about being accepted.

Accessed the site tonight (1:30am PST Wednesday morning)

Is 11/2 when you submitted or when it first became complete?

First complete. Submitted sometime in late Oct.

They won't tell you your status over the phone or e-mail. You will just have to wait for the mail.

On the other hand you can ask them about why you are no longer able to access the admitted students site and just pretend like you already received the letter.

Went complete 11/22...no e-mail / invitation to interview. I guess that's either really good or really bad. Or GULC is practical and playing off the fact I live in CA and would no way in hell go there to interview.

Nope. Just tried and no access. Though when I say I forgot my PW, it sends me an email with the same username and pw. I live in Cali so I guess I'll just have to wait till after the break.

Yeah, that person was kind of a special case. (Edit - Oops, sorry, that was already addressed.) I also went from 11/10 --> 11/23 yesterday and I have nothing yet...

I think he was just confirming that the site hadn't been taken down for all admits, just those of us who were entered in the system recently.
