Since 10/23 for me. Don't expect an update anytime soon. They just initiated their stupid game of chicken with us, by extending the ED deadline. They will string us along every second they can, hoping we cave in and switch to ED.

In all likelihood I'd probably go to Vanderbilt or Georgetown over UVA but would like to see if they offer me anything.

I got in today regular decision with a full scholarship. I applied around December 1.

A congrats IS in order, because getting an email to call means you are in. He will not ask questions, he'll just say "congrats, you're in" and the like.

If you're calling from a landline, 1 + area code + number.

If you're calling from a cell phone, you don't need the 1.

The admissions office will be opening my ED contract today, sent via express mail. 15 days and counting!

Conventional wisdom is that URM cycles take longer because schools have to wait to see how their class is shaping up before they can admit some URMs for sure. Your LSAT is below median so they may be holding onto your app to make sure their LSAT numbers look good and they can take you without hurting their medians.

With your rockin' GPA, though, I'd keep up hope. You have a very strong shot at admission, just be patient.

If you are really a URM, you have every reason to hope to be admitted with those numbers.

As people who were accepted last year have pointed out ITT, many of the RD applicants who applied in October/November got accepted in late January last cycle.

I sent mine today. Mr. Faulk said it was excellent news since they could now stop pretending to review my file and send me my "waitlist" email in a few days.

11/09 (original complete date). Well, I sent my ED form last saturday (overnight) and the office received it this morning (9:48 am this morning). So, I am guessing they opened it today and decided to give me that coveted email (from Mr. Dugas). Good luck to all the RD-turned-EDers, hope to see you all there!

I'm not sure what it means. I have noticed, though, that the review date did not change for the few people who were admitted by phone over the last few days.

Yeah, the review date hasn't been changing on the days ppl have been accepted.

Also, just in case adcoms are looking, I was joking earlier. Cordel Faulk was polite and said he would await the arrival of the ED contract.
