Just posting to say how much I enjoyed my three years in Ann Arbor. If you guys get in, you should go (provided the price is reasonable). It's a good place to live and a nice community to be a part of. Graduating and talking to a lot of people who went to other law schools has made me realize how great Michigan was more than ever.

In this morning, first T-14 acceptance!! Really excited!! School is very high on my list, everyone there seems to love it.

I applied early Jan and was shocked by the quick turnaround. Reverse splitter here so they must have really liked my application/ essays. Wrote 2 optional and really stressed my extracurricular work in undergrad. Please don't quote.

I'm almost at 4 months with nothing. this sucks, really makes me not like Michigan. (of course if they accept me then i will love them)

Especially seeing mid-January applicants getting in with much lower numbers, it's getting hard not to take it personally at this point

At that level I'd say the only two possibilities are YP (I'd expect this is most likely), or you wrote awful essays/PS (unlikely if you've got other T14 acceptances).

With the delayed accept (or WL), essentially they free up more money to offer to likely attenders. This is all assuming they either didn't get a Why Michigan, or weren't convinced by it

When I sent an updated resume to them after getting the
we didn't forget about you email, I got a response "I'm glad to see you are still interested in Michigan" whatever that means.

I sent them a Why Michigan about a week before getting that email. just makes no sense why they would chose to YP us and not others with very similar stats. wish i knew what they were thinking

Yeah, I sent a pretty lengthy Why Mich when I first applied. I'm assuming/hoping there aren't any fatal flaws with my application given a couple other T14 acceptances and a JS1

Its not uncommon to wait a few days over 2 weeks! I saw someone in last years thread wait 3 weeks and then received good news

I've been waiting since November 3rd. Applied ED, they rolled me to regular decision and I've been waiting since. I expected this because both my numbers are between 25-50th but it still sucks.
