International applicant here. Submitted today. LSAT above 75th. Non-reportable GPA: Superior. But the ABA reports suggest internationals shouldn't get too optimistic about UVA.

I was an international student who attended with similar stats, though I was in-state and ED. I was admitted within 24 hours. I think in 2011 admission was a little more cutthroat than today.

Do you have anything that makes you stand out as an international applicant - hopefully that's made very clear in your PS. Also, I'd suggest why X statements for every school you apply to - find a way to tie your international experience to something unique about the school.

Thanks for the comment. My why x essay connects my career goals to UVA law but doesn't touch on a unique aspect of the law school. Could have certainly done what you have suggested but too late for it. Not expecting much.

Getting a 2.3 at UVA would require considerable effort and specialness. That GPA requirement is effectively nonexistent.

Yeah I have the same offer and my understanding is that if you have a 2.3 you should be dropping out, not worrying about your scholarship- curve is a 3.3 average I believe. Basically it's a "if you don't literally fail you keep this scholarship" offer.

Same boat, similar stats. Either they're gonna WL us, I guess for yield protection, or they're just taking a bit longer than most schools. My guess is still the latter. Definitely keep hoping, imo.

I am in a similar position except UR 11/8 and predicting I will be be waitlisted near the end of the cycle. This seems to happen to applicants every year who aren't selected by Feb. with a few outliers.

I've been UR2 since 12/12. It's probably not going to turn out well, considering how quickly I have heard from other schools.

I got my interview request like around 6 days after it went review and then got in after 7ish business days. Remember it's 15 business days and not 15 days, so you still definitely have hope! Good luck
