You sat in my property class few days ago, I told you to email me if you have any questions, but I think I gave you a wrong email address. I think I wrote @uchicago.com instead of .edu. Silly me. If you are this person, PM me or use the correct email address.
To those who just got WLed, don't give up. Chicago always take students off their WL. Work on your letter of continued interest. Also if you are WLed/No decision yet and want to meet a student when you visit, let me know. I will be happy to answer some questions.

WL is practically speaking a rejection, correct?
Also, I missed the deadline for the LOCI (it says April 21, 2015). How important is the LOCI in getting in from the WL? I already did an interview.

Re: Chicago Law School c/o 2018 Applicants
Missed a call while in class this afternoon from an admissions officer at Chicago wanting to talk about the status of my application on the waitlist. Does Chicago do something akin to Harvard's JS1b? Not sure what to expect when I call in tomorrow.
50th < LSAT < 75th; 25th < GPA < 50th. Interviewed. Did not submit a waitlist LOCI.

Re: Chicago Law School c/o 2018 Applicants
I was called yesterday afternoon and asked to confirm my continued interest in Chicago, which I did. (Today's NYU admit changes things a bit, but I'll base my final decision on financial aid offers.) They were pulling some specific files for the admissions committee to look at, including mine, and were aiming to have decisions for the people selected by the end of the week. If admitted, I'll have a week to decide.

Just admitted via email. Scholarship info will come separately. That'll definitely influence my decision, especially given that NYU offered me money.

Re: Chicago Law School c/o 2018 Applicants
Edited: I hadn't looked at the general threads with information on waitlists. Two admissions off the waitlist last year, out of 204. Dang.
I'm seeing 85 applicants listed as waitlisted on LSN (not including the ones who were waitlisted, but then withdrew). Even considering that many people probably don't continue updating after they've figured out their final decision, that seems like a pretty huge number for a class of 190. Does anyone have information on how past year's waitlists have gone. I recently got my essay in, but it's feeling a bit pointless compared with some other schools.
