Waitlisted today. Submitted in mid October and complete pretty quickly after that. I really hope I can turn this one into an Acceptance for either Summer or Fall. Anyone know the basic timeline for waitlist applicants and starting in the Summer?

Does anyone know when Summer Start begins? I don't think I graduate before it starts, but otherwise I'll say I'm happy to do either option.

WLed. LSAT > 75th, GPA <<< 25th. Got into NU so will probably withdraw here. Good luck to everyone still waiting!

Just wondering why? Might as well wait it out and decide if something happens, right?pamphleteer wrote:WLed. LSAT > 75th, GPA <<< 25th. Got into NU so will probably withdraw here. Good luck to everyone still waiting!

Let him withdraw if he knows he's not going to be going there - there are people waiting on the list, like meJFO1833 wrote:Just wondering why? NU was my first choice and since it seems really unlikely I'll get $$ off the waitlist at Michigan to leverage for a scholarship at Northwestern, I don't see much point in staying on. Better that someone who actually wants to go to Mich takes my spot.JFO1833 wrote:Just wondering why? Might as well wait it out and decide if something happens, right?pamphleteer wrote:WLed. Waitlisted this morning as well. Went complete 1/12. Didn't write a Why Michigan, but I was at LSAT 75%, and just below GPA 75%. So I was a little surprised, but I will most likely be withdrawing to give those of you staying on a slightly better chance.

Does Michigan assume the majority of applicants want fall start? I would love to start in the summer (fuck my job) and am not sure if I should email them stating I'm all for starting in the summer.lokikoala wrote:imKMart wrote:Does anyone know when Summer Start begins? If you get WLed when you fill out the form it asks if you want to be considered for either start date (not sure if you were WL or not).ggnobbq wrote:Does Michigan assume the majority of applicants want fall start? Re: Michigan Law c/o 2018 Applicants (2014-2015)
I haven't been WL'd. I guess I am asking if my preference for summer start warrants an email, even though I did specify in the application I'm down with summer/fall, and if so, would it boost my chances? I'm not sure if they need summer starters more than fall matriculates.imKMart wrote:If you get WLed when you fill out the form it asks if you want to be considered for either start date (not sure if you were WL or not).

If you specified in your application, what would the email be adding other than a reiteration? From my understanding the openness to both does give a slight boost, at least that's what it said when I read their WL FAQs today so I'm presuming it applies to you as well.ggnobbq wrote:I haven't been WL'd.
