I also received my decision the same day I went UR2. I was a late December applicant, went UR1 1/26, and UR2/Accepted on 2/19. Good luck everyone!OhBoyOhBortles wrote:Varies. Hey All!
Have my Duke Scholarship interview on Friday. Any pointers from those who've already had the interview? Beyond the usual "Why Duke" questions every school asks.
Thanks!

I just had my scholarship interview recently. It's been covered at other points in this thread, but it was very laid back and conversational. The questions were typical: Why law school, why Duke, what are you interests outside of the classroom, etc. They also give you an opportunity to ask questions about Duke, and to elaborate on your financial circumstances if something isn't reflected in the Need Access.creedbratton wrote:+1, also curious in this!Peck.173 wrote:Hey All!

Finally went UR2 3/3 after being UR1 since 12/8. RD. How long should I expect until a decision?

Is it an interview to potentially get off the PR? How did you hear about it? etc, etc

When you get PR'd they invite you to interview on campus. I'm going to be in the neighborhood, so I figured I'd take them up on it. Pretty sure someone earlier in the thread did this as well.

absolutely be prepared to address any weaknesses you may have in your app. other than that, it's more of a conversation than an interview. have some talking points ready, and know your answers to the basic questions like why law, why duke, have you done anything noteworthy since submitting your app, etc. i definitely suggest re-reading all of your submitted application materials beforehand, as it definitely helped me. this pretty much covers it all, but anyone with more specific questions is welcome to pm meusn26 wrote:I have a priority reserve interview in a couple days. Not sure. Some people have been UR2 for over a month. This is going to be the most intense wait for me since Duke was always my #1 choice from the very beginning of the application process. I'm in at Michigan w/a nice scholarship but I'd trade it in for the exact same conditions at Duke.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
