Can we do an over/under on how many PMs are in his/her inbox within 20 minutes of posting? I'm guessing 40.smile0751 wrote:Congratulations! Can you share when your JS1 was? Btw, you are now TLS's most interesting person alive.titusandronicus wrote:In via e-mail!

Is it not a call? I was under the impression that you first receive a call, which was followed up by an email a few days later?

I don't thinkk that that's quite true (if it is it escaped my notice) but there definitely were some quick turn arounds. I believe I received a JS1 three days after going complete, and there were some that were even quicker.

Me too. I just want to see a second person with a JS2 to confirm a wave and not just a trickle.Hat.trick wrote:i think i've refreshed this page about 20 times in the last 2 minutes

I linked above -- it was our 1L in residence HorseThief, per his LSN, but like he said, he's a special snowflake.rseaney wrote:LetsGoMets wrote:If I'm not mistaken last year some people got JS1 invites within hours of going completeChemEng1642 wrote:Not disconfirming this but there were people that received JS1s 4 days after going complete so I don't see why not...Kobaine51 wrote:My sense (hope) is that JS1s are still not dropping for completes later than 11/20 - can anyone disconfirm this?

Re: Harvard c/o 2018 Applicants (2014-2015 Cycle)
Non-JS2-related question: I'm a person who went complete a long time ago, and I'm above GPA 75 and at LSAT median, but so many of the JS1 waves have people who went complete after me. So I'm wondering: do they go back and re-evaluate people they skipped over as they issue more and more JS1s, or are we like done? Do they maybe issue waves in batches of LSAT (the avg. on TLS is 176 for people who have JS1s), and go back and issue JS1 waves for people with lower LSATs, or what?

Congrats!!
Is an international-only wave possible?
More thinking out loud here since I know none of us have any idea. But that would be odd.

I think at this point we're capable of rationalizing pretty much anything haha. But we're getting close to the 4 pm hour on the east coast, which has definitely been the movement hour for the cycle so far, for JS1s at least.psychmusic wrote:It would be odd. I was thinking it's also possible they sent the emails to international and then started making calls.LetsGoMets wrote:Congrats!!
