Candidates who are asked to interview are being considered for acceptance, so yes it's a good thing. Not everyone gets an interview. People do get accepted without interviewing, and also get rejected without interviewing.

Has anyone been rejected after declining an optional alumni interview?

The wait after alum interviews must be the worst part of the wait. So close, yet so far.

I sent a binding ED app about 4 weeks ago today and haven't heard anything. The ED option said I'd get a decision within 3 weeks. What do you guys think I should do? It sucks to wait but Im mostly worried that something went wrong with my app.

I don't know about a "full accepted students package" but I got a nice looking box/folder thing after I got accepted
Really? I don't think I ever got that.

Finally was able to schedule an interview with an alumna. Do people who have done this have any tips? What questions should I be expecting besides why law and why GULC?
