I submitted on deadline day. Has anyone who submitted their app so close to the deadline heard back yet? My app has been complete since 2/4 (they moved right away, which I thought was encouraging).

I submitted 2/3 and I'm still under review. I think the fastest I recall was 2.5 weeks to hear back?

Think they're still out to lunch and the dings will resume shortly, or has the storm passed? (Condolences to those who got bad news today...I have no idea why some people were rejected looking at the numbers )

Looks like the storm has probably passed for the day. If we're lucky there will be some admits later this week, otherwise the rest of us are probably FR2. (Or... more dings.)

that's probably the case. if they're reporting accurately, though, this does mean they've started looking at post-1/21 UR files, though. so i am cautiously relieved to have survived the day.

no, just in a glass half-empty kind of mood. sorry, haha. and, even if the lsn person isn't fudging their dates, the majority of dings was in the 1/21 and earlier crowd, so...

Man, I took a couple of weeks off from this thread, and I am disheartened to see the quality of the dings upon returning. No offense to anyone in this position, but I don't mind seeing a 172 K-JD ding; those folks have lots of other options, and lots of time left. When I see people with good WE, good GPAs, graduate experience, and the like getting rejected, though - damn. Berk really is a black box.

Fair enough lol. I'm definitely pessimistic on my chances after seeing the numbers/info of people dinged today. If there's another wave tomorrow, I'm pretty sure I'll be one of them.
