I was UR since 1/2 and I just had an update to my status date today. It seems they've started looking at January applicants. That's why I say give it some time. No need for a LOCI yet.well.let's.see wrote:I've been UR since 1/31. I've heard nothing since.
I have numbers that I think—that I hope—will get me in but w/ little to no $.
I know it's scary to pay sticker...not convinced I would, but not convinced I wouldn't.
HOWEVER, the question is, do I send them an e-mail of the "continued interest" ilk...or just wait it out? Thoughts?

It would be nice if they acknowledged my application from early december with an acceptance... and not the waiting game of UR as i have been subject to.mh33 wrote:^This...rufus&miles wrote:Good to know it isn't just me! if so, did you email their financial aid office, or a specific faculty member?

I sent mine directly to the Dean of Admissions. Realllly quick turnaround.kaf5250 wrote:I sent an email a few days ago and nothing at all backszb5058 wrote:has anyone successfully negotiated with BC??
if so, did you email their financial aid office, or a specific faculty member?but I sent it to the dean who signed my original offer letter because I figured it would get forwarded to her anyways. My plan is to wait it out a little and send a follow-up a little more than a week before the first deposit deadline basically saying I can't put down a non-refundable deposit without more money haha heres to hoping !
