I posted this a few days ago, but I had to pull out of a group interview the day before due to a medical emergency. I emailed the school explaining and saying I was of course still interested in GTown. This was mid december, and I never got a reply to that email and I'm still sitting on the same update from 11/27 before they offered me the interview (which was my first update after initially going complete).

Should I be sending a follow up email? I think it's weird that I have had zero movement; people who've spoken about declining the interview initially seemed to move forward in the process after declining, and people who did the interview move forward as well. I feel like I'm in some weird limbo..

For other's future reference though, unless it was a big mix up, apparently you can be asked to group interview after not attending your original interview.

ETA: Deleted my ranty post bc it was primarily venting rather than a question. For other's future reference though, unless it was a big mix up, apparently you can be asked to group interview after not attending your original interview. Received the exact same standard invite email that I did in December, not personalized acknowledging the previous invite/ med emergency + cancellation of which I had informed them, or any acknowledgement of prior communication at all..

Submitted on 11/26, complete around a week later.
I am a bit surprised to hear so soon because I was not invited for an interview.

I had my interview, the interviewer, was selling me Gtown, not asking me about my thoughts, ect. He did most of the talking. Has anyone else had an interview similar to that?

My alumni interviewer did a lot of the same. She even told me that she's pretty sure the whole point of the interview was to convince me to attend the school, not determining my eligibility to attend.

I felt like that was off, but it was still a nice compliment. My $0.02.

I had a group interview 12/28, Dean Cornblatt said, "You should hear from us next week."

Still sitting on a 12/5 status date though.

When I try to check my application status, it says "the website requires a client certificate" and then won't let me even get to the point where I put in a username/password. Has anyone had this problem/knows how to fix it?

That happened to me when I used Safari, but it worked when I used Firefox. I'd try a different browser.

I just think reading the thread is most helpful because if one person reposts their experience it might not be representative. There were different formats, questions, etc.

Definitely. I read that in some interviews the interviewer was selling Georgetown, while mine was a bit more like an actual interview/conversation. I am kind of in love with my interviewer, we giggled a lot, and it was quite relaxed.

Just got my 3rd post-interview status checker update... Hoping for some good news soon. How long after receiving a 3rd update were folks able to get a username/password for the admitted students site?
