If I remember correctly from reading last year's thread, the VCEs are sprinkled out in a long stretch of acceptances, not sent out in one enormous batch. People who expect an acceptance could easily get it later this week, or next week, or any week between now and March. Have faith! Not getting it today doesn't mean waitlist/ding.

And for what it's worth, my pin is unrelated to my LSAC number and SSN. For the conspiracy freaks out there - it is weirdly close to my college ID number, but I never gave Columbia that information, so I think it's pure coincidence.

The majority of admits are during the first wave, but there's a respectable number of admits later on too (for early submits). No NCE this week is by no means a kiss of death... at least that's what I'll be telling myself when I don't get it this week.

We all already know THAT DECISIONS ARE MAILED IN BATCHES OVER A COUPLE OF DAYS. I'm out here in Cali, not expecting but just riding the wave and waiting; we will all hear back from Columbia soon, just go to work, pack a bowl, have sex with your significant others, play a mmorpg, all will be told and if its one day or another it won't make a scrap of difference since you really don't know how long (or have any power over whether) your letter will be held by a hungover Teaneck, NJ post office clerk.
