Not to flood this fourm and not to ask something that I am sure has been asked before.... but:

How long from your status updating until the email is sent out... at least in other peoples experiences, or is there no consensus on the matter.

Apparently other people have had theirs change numerous times. This is number 3 for me, 1/15-->2/15-->2/17. Really nervous, but definitely expecting a ding.

that usually only happens when they question the resume or something in the p-statement. why don't you just tell them it's too personal to explain?

I was accepted 1-17, about 3 weeks before scholarships were released, but I haven't heard anything. Stats: 171 and 2.4.

Did your acceptance email say you were being considered for a Scholar in Laws (or something like that) award?

No. Someone last year mentioned getting a scholarship after their email didn't mention it, but I might be out of luck.

I was admitted 1-2 weeks before the scholarship offers came out, at least a week after you were admitted. My admission email said nothing about a scholarship, but I received mine around the same time that everyone else did. It sounds like you are out of luck.

The WUSTL status checker says: "Over time, you may notice that your current status date will change even though your current status does not. These changes are not associated with the Committee's decision."

I personally never even went UR on the status checker; my application went complete on 2/13 and I received the acceptance e-mail on 2/16. So I think it varies a lot based on the person.

But I'd just look at Law School Transparency instead, since it provides more comprehensive information. I'd link you, but for whatever reason LST links don't work on this site. Google "law school transparency" then click on data clearinghouse, and then on the dropdown find Wash U.

Thanks for the link. I have looked at the LST data for the schools I am still considering and it has been very helpful. I just wish that WashU would, at minimum, provide the percentage of employed students who have jobs requiring a J.D.
