Hey guys does anyone know much Cornell usually reimburses if travelling from New York City?

travel subsidies seem to be need based so its not automatic. that said its between 100-350 dollars

What's the word on whether they contact your employer? I just got a new job and haven't mentioned I'll be leaving in the fall, but they ask for your pay rate, etc. here.

How long did it take people to receive the acceptance email after they received a phone call accepting them? I was told I would get an email within 24 hours, but I didn't so now I'm kind of worried lol :/

if there isnt any mention of money in the email or the attached jd admit packet pdf does that mean there is no merit money offered or does that come in the paper mail package later?

I asked this question a few days ago and someone replied that you will hear back re: scholarships once you fill out the scholarship application form (in the digital acceptance packet) and turn it in. Hope that helps!

edit I found the form. do I just fax it in?

I sent it as a PDF to the email at the top of the form (I think it is something like law.financialaid@cornell.edu). Sent it yesterday; still waiting to hear back. Some others have said that it normally takes a few days to hear back with scholarship info.

Just went to "ready for review" after interviewing on 1/27 . Any idea how long it takes from ready to review --> a decision?

A few hours usually. You should get a decision today.

Anybody on the reserve list going to NYC or DC in the coming days to interview with admissions? How much of the reserve list do you think is actually making the effort to do this, and what % of those who do interview do you think will end up being accepted? Is it more about the displayed effort or about the substantive interview performance (I realize both come into play)?

Great questions. I think it's a combination of interest and interview performance. I really think if you make the effort to go to NYC or DC and you nail the interview, you are in. Let's hope so.

I hope you're right, and you should be right. I'm headed to NYC, as well. I wish they would have confirmed my chosen time and date before the weekend, though..

I interviewed 1/24 and got the call this week. You should be hearing soon!
