Can we talk about how it's impossible for everyone to have 'above average' softs? If everyone's softs are 'above average', then they are all simply average.

TBH I think that column is absolutely useless b/c everyone here (myself included) suffers from Dunning-Krueger.

hey hey hey there buddy, i'm v self aware that my KJD self has below average softs. It does sting to list it as such but idk, it's true. I definitely see why other people don't do it!

I consider my softs to be average, but I also think there are probably <5% of the applicants with similar credentials due to my specialized STEM background/WE. This leads me to wonder if they actually qualify to an adcomm as above average (not that me knowing where I fall really matters in the grand scheme of things).

I just wish that instead of just a drop down with 3 or 4 options, there was a box to list what makes your softs so 'above average'. It's really easy to click above average b/c we all want to feel like we're special, but when everyone says they're above average, it really doesn't add anything to the discussion and/or give insight to people with similar numbers.

Admitted today via status checker! I interviewed yesterday. At the close of business yesterday, the date was updated but was still UR. Changed to admitted this morning!

No. The dates change without any reason we know of sometimes. I have no idea why I'm UR2. I've been UR2 for almost two months. Lol

In today via status checker! Complete 12/14. Interview Request 1/16, Interview 1/18. Interview was surprisingly brief.

LSAT > 75, 25 < GPA < 50. Hope having another data point helps!

Yeah "Highly Unique" is equally ambiguous. As far as I know, there is only one lawyer with my particular "highly unique soft" and he graduated from law school 15 years ago, so its certainly a unique soft. But there is no telling whether schools will see that particular "Highly unique" soft as any better than your typical above average softs. I'll reveal what it is at the end of the cycle, and we can judge one way or another based on results lol.

A marathon is one of those things where I just don't get why you'd put yourself through that. You could not run for 3 or 4 hours and eat cupcakes instead. Much more satisfying.
