Just got my letter in the mail, apparently the website doesn't lie! It's a small envelope with a nice note.

Re: Georgetown C/O 2019 Applicants (2015-2016)
Hey all - new to TLS and looking for some friendly advice. I'm 167/3.65, but also waiting on my December score (it was a hard test, but I'm PRAYING for 169+...!!!).
Do you all think it would be worthwhile to throw my app in to GULC now, or to wait two weeks for my new LSAT score? I figure it doesn't matter much either way, so I'm waiting... but I'd love some advice! Should I throw it in now and write an addendum to wait for my Dec score? I just keep going back and forth because obviously there's no guarantee my Dec score will be any better than 167.

Don't write an addendum. If you want them to wait then a simple email would be fine. If you're gonna have them wait for your score, you might as well wait and save the money on apps if you plan on retaking and sitting out a year.Neethusree wrote:Hey all - new to TLS and looking for some friendly advice. You have a pretty good shot at getting in now with your current stats, so long as you have a serious application with good PS and supplements and resume. If you really want to get in, I would recommend also applying to the part time program as that'll widen your chanceNeethusree wrote:Hey all - new to TLS and looking for some friendly advice. Finally received my alumni interview date. If it is at a cafe near his home and he has not told me how to dress for the interview, should I just do business casual? And has there been a general consensus as to whether alumni interviews are good or bad for chances of getting in?

I'd say go with a suit, just because it's winter and you'll get some leeway. If not a suit, then shirt and tie with a nice jacket.johnclaudio1010 wrote:Finally received my alumni interview date. In terms of it being good or bad, I had a note from the Dean on my acceptance letter about my interview, that he had heard great things from my interviewer and he couldn't wait to meet me and discuss my interests. So at least in my case, it seems to have been extremely good for my chances.

Those that were accepted this past week, when did you apply and when did you interview?

Haha that's what he said on my note too...so not sure if this means both of our interviews were influential or they say it to everyone.

Haha probably the latter. Unless you're also from Clutch City, in which case we struck gold.threatlevelmidnight wrote:BirdLawExpert wrote:I'd say go with a suit, just because it's winter and you'll get some leeway.
