Been sitting at UR1 with zero movement since applying first week of January. Just received an interview request. Nice to see some movement! And congratulations to everyone who got an acceptance last night :D

What does an interview request for a non-URM with 25% LSAT and 25%<GPA<50% mean? I'm incredibly pessimistic about admission changes but wonder if this means my application/softs are strong or if it means absolutely nothing...

Can anyone who has been through the interview process give us new requests an idea of what the questions are like?

They literally felt like they were being read from the list of questions in this thread. Hardest question imo was "what do you want to change about yourself?"

Go to Page 49 of the Thread. There is a pretty good list of questions there and some discussion of what to expect. Some think the interview was cold, I personally had a very pleasant interview. Good luck!

Any thoughts on if today's interview wave was the last of the cycle?

Early this coming week, I was told.
Bummer, was hoping to see money today at the latest. Is Wednesday still considered "early" in the week? lol
Is Thursday considered "early" in the week...?

Friday is totally still early in the week, right? (Assuming the time has passed for us to hear today)

i would take it as a good thing! i didn't have stellar stats either (median lsat, below 25th GPA), also non URM, one year WE and average softs, so not a definite acceptance by far. i had my interview about 2 weeks ago, didn't even think it went that well, and got in last night. i think it can only be a good thing if they want to learn more about you, especially at a school like chicago where they don't accept people without interviewing them first
Same here. I have a 25%<LSAT<50%. Now I feel much better. Thank you so much.

Got the interview invite this morning! Overwhelmed!
By the way, does anyone know how many of the people who received interview invite will eventually be accepted?

Their deadline was 3/1 so I doubt this was the last wave.
Good point. I'm still thinking that if you applied early on (and even like later but just not recently) that it can't be looking great by now if you haven't gotten one. But that's just my instinct on things, lol.

+1! Interviewing on Monday and it'll be interesting to see how Chicago's process differs from other schools.
