Got the snail mail ding today as well. We're having almost identical cycles.
Seriously, it's getting weird. Quick! What's your favorite pizza?
Chicken, Bacon, and Pineapple. It's especially delicious with a white sauce instead of tomato.

thats about as pizza as a ham sandwich on rye
v important question: how do you feel about deep dish vs. thin crust? real pizza or not?

I'm also partial to a classic new york style pepperoni slice. If we want to stick to tradition.

Chicago style is casserole, not pizza. That's one line I don't cross.

Before you posted this I was pretty sure we couldn't be friends because of that weird "pizza" you responded with. Pepperoni is GOAT, Chicago isn't pizza.

I won't deny its greatness, but I will deny its status as pizza.

Fair enough. It is definitely king of casseroles.

Have any west coasters been gifted with snail mail. My mailbox canary has indicated that nothing has been received which is suspect.

I should have clarified in my op but assume this was a ding and not an acceptance envelope?

Sorry, I should have clarified as well. I received an acceptance envelope on Saturday after getting the email last Tuesday.

Dinged via snail mail this afternoon. Already in at H, so a straight up rejection was a slight surprise. URM cycles can be very unpredictable I guess.

Stats in profile.

Given it was over the holidays, but I waited roughly 7 weeks from the date of my interview until I was accepted. Don't give up hope yet!

My tea bag this morning said "Patience pays." and I'm taking it as a sign I'll hear from somewhere that I've been waiting for.
